What is WhatsApp Wrapped?
WhatsApp Wrapped is a visual recap generated from an exported chat. MyChatWrap can summarize all time, a selected year or a selected month with messages exchanged, total words, active days, longest streak, busiest month and time, top words, leaderboards, badges and a relationship or group-health summary. It works like Spotify Wrapped, but for one WhatsApp conversation, and you can make it any time of year. It is free and needs no account: once your upload has been processed, the slideshow plays. It is a MyChatWrap tool, not an official WhatsApp or Meta feature.

How to create a WhatsApp Wrapped
1. Export a chat
Use WhatsApp's Export chat option and save the .txt or .zip file. Both individual and group exports are supported.
2. Add it to MyChatWrap
Drop the file above. The app parses the export and calculates the statistics used by the recap.
3. Choose and play
Open the all-time recap or pick a year or month with activity. Play the slideshow, revisit the summary and save the result if you want a copy.

How to get your WhatsApp Wrapped for this year (or any year)
WhatsApp has no built-in year-in-review, so the recap is built from an exported chat. Because the export contains the whole history, you are not limited to the current year: the same file can produce a Wrapped for every year or month the chat was active, or for all time.
- Export the chat from WhatsApp (Without media is enough) on iPhone or Android.
- Drop the .txt or .zip on this page; the slideshow opens once the chat is processed.
- Pick All time, a year or a month with activity to replay a different period.
- Save it with the browser's Print / Save as PDF, export the report as JSON, or take screenshots.
What appears in the recap?
The exact slides depend on the data available in the export. A typical result includes the message total, words, active days, streak, busiest periods, top words, first message, participant leaderboards, badges and a relationship- or group-health card.
A metric is skipped when the chat does not contain enough valid data for it. That is more honest than filling every recap with a made-up superlative.
All time, one year or one month
WhatsApp Wrapped is not limited to December. If the export spans multiple years, you can replay the complete history or focus on one year. If it contains multiple active months, you can choose a single month for a smaller recap.
The chosen period changes the totals and leaderboards. It does not change the source file, so you can return to all time whenever you want.
Wrapped versus the full Chat Analyzer
Wrapped is the concise, entertaining version: a sequence of highlights designed to replay or screenshot. The Chat Analyzer is the deeper workspace with distributions, tables, comparison metrics, date controls and methodology context.

Your recap is calculated in the browser
MyChatWrap parses the export and calculates deterministic Wrapped statistics on your device. The chat content is not stored on the MyChatWrap server. Be mindful that a screenshot or downloaded copy can reveal names and statistics to whoever receives it.
