Does MyChatWrap print and ship the book?

No. MyChatWrap creates an editable, downloadable PDF. Home printing or a third-party print service is your separate choice.

Can I edit the Chatbook before downloading it?

Yes. You can edit supported text directly on the page, move and resize blocks, add or remove memories, change available awards and widgets, and switch designs before export.

Is a Chatbook the same as WhatsApp to PDF?

No. A Chatbook is a curated keepsake. WhatsApp to PDF is the complete chronological transcript with chat bubbles, dates and timestamps.

Can I make a Chatbook from a group chat?

Yes. My Chatbook can use a parsed group export and build participant pages and group-relevant statistics from it.

Is the Chatbook available in every language?

The surrounding MyChatWrap site supports eight languages, but the current Chatbook editor and generated book copy are still English. Review the preview before downloading if the conversation itself uses another language.

A WhatsApp Chatbook is a curated keepsake made from an exported conversation. Unlike a transcript that prints every message, MyChatWrap creates a cover, conversation overview, written story, milestones, playful awards, selected memories and participant pages. You can choose a theme, edit text and page blocks, preview the result and download it as a PDF. MyChatWrap creates the file; it does not print or ship a physical book.

Cover, overview and memory pages are rendered by the same components used in My Chatbook. The names and messages are fictional.

Choose a visual edition

Switch between Archive Edition, Modern Minimal, Playful Pop and Midnight Edition. A theme changes the typography, paper, accents and decorative treatment without changing your underlying memories.

Edit directly on the page

Open Edit view to rewrite the title, story, overview quote, memories and closing line. Text blocks can be moved and resized on the page, and generated content can be reset if you want to start again.

Choose what belongs

Add or remove memories, Yearbook Awards and optional data widgets. The generated book is a starting point, not a demand to include every private moment from the conversation.

Preview before downloading

Review the actual page sequence and layout before creating the PDF. Check names, dates, quotes, private details and page breaks before printing or giving the file to somebody else.

Download a printable PDF

Export the designed Chatbook as its own PDF. If you also need every message, the editor offers the complete WhatsApp-style transcript as a separate PDF rather than mixing it into the keepsake.

Built from the chat on your device

The public Chatbook workflow is generated deterministically from the imported chat and its existing analytics in your browser. It does not send the message text to an AI service to write the public book.

How to make a WhatsApp Chatbook

1. Export the conversation
In WhatsApp, open the chat information, choose Export chat and save the .txt file. Choose Include media if you want the export package to contain available media files.
2. Build and personalize the book
Add the export above. MyChatWrap opens My Chatbook with a generated cover and chapters. Pick a theme, switch to Edit view and keep, rewrite or remove what does not belong.
3. Preview and download
Read every page, correct anything that needs context and download the Chatbook PDF. Print it yourself or use an independent printing service if you want a physical copy.

What goes into the keepsake?

A Chatbook combines the shape of the conversation with selected moments from it. The generated pages can include a cover, table of contents, overview statistics, a short story of the chat, a Journey of first appearances, Yearbook Awards, small habits, recurring moments, participant profiles and a closing page.

Not every chapter appears in every book. A section is omitted when the export does not contain suitable data, and optional widgets stay off until you add them. This keeps the result closer to the conversation instead of filling pages with invented material.

Chatbook or full transcript PDF?

Choose Chatbook when the purpose is memory, storytelling or a gift. It is selective, designed and editable. Choose WhatsApp to PDF when the purpose is archiving, printing or sharing the complete message-by-message record in chronological order.

You do not have to choose permanently. The Chatbook editor can also create the full transcript as a separate file, so the keepsake can stay concise while the complete record remains available.

A review checklist before you share it

A private conversation can contain other people's personal information. Read the finished book as carefully as you would read a photo album prepared for public display.

Confirm names, dates and quotes against the original context.
Remove addresses, health information, arguments or other material that should remain private.
Ask for consent when the book includes messages from people beyond the intended recipient.
Preview every page after editing so moved or resized blocks still print cleanly.

The export is parsed and the public Chatbook is assembled on your device. MyChatWrap does not need an account and does not store the chat content. If you later send the PDF to a printer or another person, their privacy practices are separate from MyChatWrap, so review the file before sharing it.
