Private WhatsApp export date range checker
See the first and latest timestamps represented by an exported WhatsApp conversation, its calendar span, active days and message total. The checker describes the file you selected and highlights why an old start date is not proof that the export contains every historical message.

Export the chat and add its TXT or ZIP file. MyChatWrap reads the stored import’s earliest and latest parsed timestamps, displays them as the date range and pairs that span with total messages and active calendar days. These boundaries mean “first and last parsed entries in this export,” not necessarily the first and latest messages ever exchanged.
The preview uses the same StatCard component as Dashboard › Overview with fictional dates, counts and an explicit completeness warning.

Two minutes on your phone. Choose your device, follow the taps, then come back and add the file above.
Watch the whole flow — export from WhatsApp, then drop the file into this app.
The start is the earliest successfully parsed timestamp stored for the import; the end is the latest. The displayed range summarizes those two file boundaries.
A senderless system event can sit at a boundary because this checker concerns parsed chronology, whereas the First Message Finder focuses on the earliest eligible participant message.
Calendar span includes quiet periods between the first and latest timestamps. Active days count only distinct UTC day keys containing recognized activity.
A five-year span may contain relatively few active days, while a one-month group chat may have activity every day. Both values provide useful but different scale context.
WhatsApp exports can be limited, interrupted or based only on history available to the device. Cleared messages, migrations and older unavailable data cannot be detected merely from the earliest timestamp.
The checker can reveal an abrupt or unexpectedly recent beginning, but it cannot prove that nothing is missing inside or before the range.
Overview can analyze supported periods within an imported chat. A selected dashboard filter describes that analysis window, while the import record retains the file’s original date boundaries.
Use the original range when assessing how much history the file contains.
Standard import, parsing and deterministic analytics run in your browser. MyChatWrap does not connect to your WhatsApp account or store raw message content on its server. The selected import remains in that browser’s local app database until you remove it.

Count question-bearing messages and compare participants with a clear punctuation-based method.
Count recognizable URLs, including multiple links per message, and compare participants.
