What does a WhatsApp group chat analyzer show?
A group chat analyzer counts the messages and measurable actions attributed to every member in an exported group. MyChatWrap ranks volume, reply speed, conversation starts, questions, words, emojis, media and links; measures participation concentration; estimates who replies to whom; and builds profiles, pair summaries and a social graph when enough data exists. These are patterns in one export—not judgments about popularity, friendship or the value of quieter members.

How participation and roles are calculated
Participant metrics require an exported entry with a sender. Senderless system notices can remain in the parsed history but do not become leaderboard members. Renamed labels, merged exports or missing history can split or omit a person's contribution.
Role leaders are simple extrema among positive eligible values: the maximum count for messages, starts, questions and media, and the minimum positive average reply time. Exact ties produce co-leaders; the categories are not combined into a personality score.
Participation concentration uses raw member message counts. A Gini coefficient of zero means equal counts; higher values mean greater concentration. Below 0.15 is labelled very evenly split, below 0.35 moderately balanced, below 0.55 a few people dominate, and 0.55 or above highly concentrated.
How the reply network is estimated
When a message immediately follows a different sender within the same four-hour conversation window, MyChatWrap records an inferred reply from the new sender to the previous sender. WhatsApp exports do not reliably preserve every tapped Reply relationship, so adjacency is an estimate—especially in busy groups.
The social graph combines both directions into one edge and requires at least two inferred replies. The hub has the greatest total edge weight; a bridge is an articulation point whose removal splits the connected network; and the outsider is the weakest-connected member who still has a real edge. The graph is hidden above 25 members for readability.
Group patterns are not social verdicts
Message share and reply connections cannot measure popularity, friendship, authority or contributions made through moderation, planning, calls and in-person interaction.
Treat roles and awards as transparent summaries of the exported period. A quiet member is not necessarily disengaged, and equal message volume is not a requirement for a useful or healthy group.

- Popularity, friendship strength, authority, influence or social value.

- Why a member is quiet or active, or whether the group is healthy or likely to last.
