Data Analyst
Turn our product and acquisition data into decisions.
Stuttgart, Germany — hybrid (2–3 days/week in office)Full-time / Working student (Werkstudent)Product & Growth
MyChatWrap turns exported WhatsApp chats into relationship analytics — entirely in the browser, with nothing stored. We generate a lot of first-party product and acquisition data and not enough answers. You'll own the analytics layer: the models, the dashboards, and the weekly readouts that tell the team what to build and where to spend.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain the metrics that matter — activation, retention, acquisition-channel performance, conversion funnels — and make them self-serve.
- Design and analyse A/B tests and pricing / onboarding experiments end to end, from hypothesis to a clear ship / kill recommendation.
- Dig into the acquisition funnel (search, AI assistants, social, direct) and tell us which sources actually convert.
- Partner with engineering on the event schema so the data we collect answers real questions.
- Write short, opinionated analyses — not 40-slide decks — that a founder can act on the same day.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in an analytics role (product, growth, or BI) — or an exceptional portfolio if you're earlier in your career.
- Strong SQL and confident with a scripting language for analysis (Python or R).
- You can frame a business question, choose the right method, and communicate the answer plainly.
- Solid grasp of experimentation — significance, power, common pitfalls.
- English at C1+.
Nice to have
- Experience with a warehouse-native BI tool or building dashboards in code (Recharts, Streamlit, etc.).
- Familiarity with MongoDB aggregation pipelines.
- Marketing / SEO analytics background (GSC, GA4, attribution).
- German.
Languages
English at C1 or above is required. German is a strong plus.
Working student
As a working student: ~16–20 h/week during term, flexible around your timetable, ownership of one or two recurring analyses plus ad-hoc deep dives.
